Labor Day Ft. Pierce Cruise September 1 - 4 Hosted by Jesse & Carmen Camp Some basic information for the upcoming Labor Day Cruise to Ft. Pierce. We will be at the Harbortown Marina in Ft. Pierce from Friday, September1st through Monday the 4th. Harbortown Marina has a restaurant, a pool, a large pavilion and easy access to the ocean via inlet. We will have two vehicles for transportation to the Farmer’s Market Saturday morning, breakfast Sunday morning, as well as for dinner. Harbortown does not allow to make reservations more than one and a half months prior to cruise dates, which means that you should start calling them NOW for your reservations. Titusville “Survival Planning” Cruise August 19-20 Hosted by Scott and Ellie Kiesling The Titusville Marina Cruise is back! It is a beautiful full -service marina with parks on both sides; one with a splash area and the other a dog park. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. It is an estimated 5-hour cruise from Satellite Beach, or 3 hours from Cocoa Village, at 6 knots. Once you arrive there is an air-conditioned captain’s lounge and an out-door covered, screened in patio. We will have an ECSA Cookout at 5PM at the marina picnic area with covered tables, grill, seating and a great view of the harbor. Scott and I will have a brief display of our “Bug Out” bag (ie; starting a fire without a match, desalinating water) and help with your “Bug Out” boat list. Come by car or boat, there is lots of parking. There will be coffee and a continental breakfast in the Captain’s Lounge Sunday morning to mid morning. WWWB Cruise Hosted by David Lauginiger Come join us for the next “Whichever Way the Wind Blows “(WWWB) Cruise! Plan on sailing or driving to Grills for lunch on Saturday, August 5. Lunch will be between 12 Noon & 1pm, and afterwards we will decide where our next landfall will be based on, you guessed it ... Whichever Way the Wind Blows! * If the wind is out of the South we sail/drive north to Cocoa Village for dinner at Ryan's. * If the wind is out of the North we sail/drive to Eau Gal-le for dinner at Squid Lips. * In the event of an East or West wind, it will be a coin toss (literally) on which direction we go. * In the case of no wind at all, we will take our dinghys, kayaks or paddle boards out on the water for cocktails with the commodore.  The boat anchored will be David's boat "Cool Change" See you then!

July 4th Cruise to Cocoa Village for Fireworks (1-4 July) & Brevard Symphony Orchestra Join us for the annual cruise to Cocoa Village to observe the fireworks display over the Indian River.  The cruise starts July 1 (it's a long weekend), but the main event is Tuesday, July 4.  You can anchor out, rent a slip at Cocoa Village Marina or come by car. We will be providing hot coals and grill for you to demonstrate your culinary skill at a pot luck dinner in the marina clubhouse.  Bring your main entree and drinks and a side dish to share with the group.  This year we must share the clubhouse with the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, but there should be plenty of room for both groups to have a relaxing time and enjoy dinner.  At dusk, we will adjourn to the main dock to set up our chairs to watch the fireworks.  Details in the Cruise Schedule below. If you anchor out, you can use either the Cocoa Village Marina docks, or to visit Cocoa Village, use the public dingy docks which are to the south east of the boat ramps.  Avoid using the slips that are between the dingy docks and the pavilion area; they're reserved for power boats. Your ECSA Board of Govenors will be hosting the Brevard Summer Sailstice - All sailors and Clubs welcome Where: Grills Riverside Restaurant,  A tent will be set up on the south side of the building. Look for the ECSA banner Dinner, on your own to order anytime. Meet-up for breakfast Sunday morning at 8:30am. Located on the Indian River north of the Pineda Causeway on US1. Come by car or by boat, listen to the live music. All sailors and clubs are encouraged to join in and celebrate the Sailstice, so invite your friends and come out for a great evening. We can discuss then about breakfast for Monday morning

Cinco De Mayo Cruise to Lake Shepard Hosted by Lynda & John Geraci Let's "taco'bout" the celebration of Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 6th.  May 5th, 1862 is the day that we commemorate the unlikely victory at the battle of Puebla the Mexican army won over the French forces.  Come join us!! We will be providing the main entree, tortillas and special happy hour drinks.  The grill will be lit to warm the corn/flour tortillas/tacos!!  Bring a Mexican side dish to share (taco topper suggestions: salsas, cheeses, red beans, black beans, onions, cilantro, lettuce, avocados, tomatoes, jalapenos, other hot peppers).  Appetizer suggestions: cheese dips mild/chips, nachos (beef, chicken or bean).  Dessert suggestions: tres leches, flan, churros, brownies. Happy Hour starts at 3:30 - Bring your own drinks.  There will also be 2 house specialties.  We'll update you more on that later! Dinner will begin before 5, especially if we run out of appetizers. Please note:  If you do not like Mexican food, bring your own entree. Navigation Notes:  At the approach to Lake Shepard, stay in the middle of the entrance to avoid the shoals.  Remember that the lake is 28 feet deep in the middle, so bring appropriate ground tackle!! Tax Relief Cruise - Marker 21 Join us on the spoil island west of Marker 21 on the ICW, 7 miles south of the Melbourne Causeway.  Relax and enjoy a laid-back afternoon on the water or on the beach.  Bring your chairs and beverages, as well as a dish to share.  If you want to bring a grill, that would be great too!  Potluck breakfast in the morning before heading home.  See you there!   Hosted by John Boyd
