Grills Riverside Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar
2025-06-21 10:00 – 2025-06-22 12:00
Please join us at Grills Riverside in Melbourne for the annual Summer Sailstice Cruise. The Summer Sailstice is an annual celebration of sailing which is held on the weekend closest to the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. There are hundreds of sailing gatherings during this weekend throughout the northern hemisphere (sorry you folks "down under", enjoy your winter!) This event gives you a perfect excuse to invite your family, friends and neighbors for a day on the water and introduce them to sailing, and perhaps the club. The cruise is planned for Saturday-Sunday June 21-22 at Grills Riverside Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar. We will meet on Saturday at the beach bar area for Happy Hour at 5:00 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m. *** UPDATE *** Grills has floating docks, recently probed by your event host to have over 6 feet of depth.  So your dinghy, and possibly your sailboat, should be able to tie up easily. For landlubbers, or in case of inclement weather, the address is 6075 North US Hwy 1, Melbourne, FL 32940. There is no planned breakfast Sunday morning so you’re on your own if spending the night on the hook. Grills does serve breakfast every day beginning at 7 a.m., so that is always an option. Please, don’t forget to RSVP by signing up for  FREE tickets online at our website, as we need to give the restaurant a headcount. John Boyd will be our host for this event so please contact him if you have any questions: webmaster@ecsasail.com. For more info on the Summer Sailstice, check out www.summersailstice.com.
